ASWNY Support Meetings
Meeting Time:
Meetings held once a month. No meetings in July and August. Check EVENTS page at www.autismwny.org for upcoming support group dates, times and locations. The Southtowns' meetings are held in East Aurora, NY and the Northtowns' meetings are held at Sweet Charlottes in Clarence.

Parent Support Coffees are held about once per month, one in the Southtowns, one in the Northtowns. The parent Support Coffees are designed so that parents can talk to other parents in a comfortable environment.

Bornhava Support Groups

Evening groups meet once a month throughout the school year. Most parents have children birth-5 years old. They have two groups, WOW Moms and Men's Forum.

WNY Sibshop at Canisius College

Sibshop provides support and guidance to siblings of children with developmental needs. Sibshops are lively, action packed 4 hour workshops that celebrate the many contributions made by brothers and sisters of children with special needs. For ages 6 - 12. Cost $20 for first child, $15 for each additional child. They also have a library for siblings.

Ken-Ton SEPTSA is a PTA unit in the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda school district that strives to bring people together so that all children with special needs have an equal opportunity to develop to their full potential. We provide a system for uniting persons involved with children of any age throughout the entire district and around Western New York in cooperation with individual school PTA units. Ken-Ton SEPTSA is a unit in good standing with New York State PTA, National PTA and Ken-Ton PTSA Council. This is our 21st year.
